New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings with a knee injury in the first quarter.

Thomas went into the injury tent during the Saints' first drive of the game, and he was considered questionable to return with a knee injury in the second quarter.

At the start of the second half, the Saints announced that Thomas was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Rookie A.T. Perry entered the game at wide receiver on the Saints' next possession, and Thomas remained in the injury tent.

After Blake Grupe capped the drive with a field goal to tie the game at 3-3, Thomas exited the tent and was seen speaking with receivers coach Kodi Burns and teammates. During the second quarter, Thomas was wearing a baseball cap on the sideline while watching the offense operate.

There was some question as to whether Thomas would play following his Friday night arrest in Kenner on?one count of simple battery and one count of criminal mischief following an incident with a contractor working near his house.

Thomas was ruled active prior to the game, and he got the start against the Vikings. Derek Carr's first two passes went to Thomas with the veteran receiving pulling in the second for 9 yards.
