Billy Braunig, Willow: Pitched a no-hitter after the first two batters reached on a walk and a three-base throwing error in a 7-2 victory against St. Martin’s.

Katie Kempton, John Curtis: Had three hits, drove in five runs and struck out 11 as Curtis defeated Chapelled 10-2 in a game that decided the Catholic League championship.

Jesse Lambert, Newman: Earned the pitching win while going 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs in an 11-10 softball victory against Country Day.

Bryce Robinson, St. Augustine: Took a no-hitter into the seventh inning after he scored the winning run in a 6-4 victory against Brother Martin. He doubled once and scored two runs.

Germain Smith-Mata, Warren Easton: Won the 100 meters at the Texas Relays in 10.21 seconds, the fastest time in Louisiana this year and tied for No. 2 nationally, according to Milesplit.

Talan Theriot, Hahnville: Earned a complete-game win against nearby rival Lutcher with five strikeouts, and reached base three times with two singles and a walk in an 8-3 victory.
