The 2024 NCAA Women's Tournament is nearing its conclusion as the focus shifts to the Final Four. Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers led the way for their teams on Monday night as the Iowa Hawkeyes and Connecticut Huskies became the final two teams in the field of four in Cleveland.

The undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks — who await the Hawkeyes and Huskies in Ohio, along with North Carolina State — have been the favorites all season long. However, have those odds now changed seeing as the only team to beat them in the last two years is back into the Final Four? Let's take a look at the odds.

2024 NCAA Women's Tournament National Championship odds

The aforementioned Gamecocks remain the overwhelming favorite in the eyes of oddsmakers. Dawn Staley's group opened the tournament as a?-135 favorite to win its second national championship in three years. After rattling off four more wins and improving to 36-0 on the year, South Carolina's odds are now -200 at FanDuel Sportsbook. This gives the team an implied probability of?66.67% of winning the title.

The Gamecocks are 11.5-point favorites over NC State ahead of Friday's Final Four clash. The Wolfpack have the longest odds of any remaining team to lift the trophy at +1200.

FanDuel Sportsbook also offers a "South Carolina vs. The Field" future, as well. Interested bettors can grab the field (Connecticut, Iowa and North Carolina State) at +160, which proves to be decent value to those who want to avoid picking a winner in the Hawkeyes versus Huskies.

The other national semifinal is expected to be much closer.

Iowa opens up as a 2.5-point favorite over Connecticut as two of the game's biggest stars battle it out for a spot in the national championship. The Hawkeyes have the second-shortest odds to win the title at +300, whereas the Huskies have +700 odds.

While the difference between the odds may surprise some, there is a reason for books giving Iowa a far better chance than Connecticut. The Hawkeyes are the only team to beat South Carolina over the last two seasons when they did so during the Final Four of the 2023 NCAA Women's Tournament. Thus, oddsmakers believe that if anybody can stop the Gamecocks, it'll be Clark and Iowa again.

For those exact reasons, many view the Hawkeyes as the best value on the board at +300. If you're backing South Carolina, though, it seems as if that ship has sailed as far as value is concerned. You'll have to pay a premium ($200 to win $100) if you want to bet on the Gamecocks to hoist another trophy.
