Lacey Ellen Fletcher.

It is with horror and disbelief that I read the story of Lacey Fletcher. Having grown up in Baker, I remember watching her father Clay quarterback the Buffaloes.

But I feel the parents should not be the only ones going to jail (and they should have had to serve the full 40 years). Everyone who knew this family and knew they had Lacey and did nothing or said nothing about her situation needs to pay a price as well.

They had a moral obligation to say something to somebody. Did the parents not ever have anyone over to their house? Did no one ask where Lacey was or how she was doing at Christmas, Thanksgiving or July Fourth barbecues?

In my opinion, these people need to be held accountable as well. I hope when they answer to the Lord for this, they all have good explanations on how this was allowed to happen.
