LSU has lost a high-profile commitment from its star-studded recruiting class of 2025.

Dakorien Moore, a five-star wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, decommitted from the Tigers on Thursday.

Moore (5-foot-11, 185 pounds) is the No. 3 overall prospect in the nation, No. 1 receiver in the nation and the No. 1 player from Texas, according to 247Sports.

He had committed to LSU on Aug. 12, once calling it his dream school, after having received scholarship offers from most major programs.

Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and Alabama among his list of perceived favorites. Moore has set up visits to Ohio State, Texas and Oregon for the next month.

"I will always hold love for the entire LSU family; the culture there is truly unmatched," Moore said via social media.

Moore is the No. 3 prospect overall in the 2025 class, and a 5-foot-11, 185-pound recruit from Duncanville, Texas. He had been committed to the Tigers since August, but announced on Wednesday that he is reopening his recruitment.

LSU's class is now rated No. 6 in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The Tigers have 11 commitments, including Bryce Underwood of Belleville, Michigan, the No. 1 quarterback in the nation; Harlem Berry of St. Martin's, the No. 2 running back in the nation; and one three-star receiver, TaRon Francis of Edna Karr.
