Oklahoma 26, Tulane 23

This is a winnable game for the Wave considering Oklahoma’s early struggles on offense, which have been exacerbated by multiple injuries on the offensive line and at receiver. If quarterback Darian Mensah plays with the same poise and panache of his first two starts, Tulane can dint a potentially dominant Sooners defense. The question is how a roster with so many new players will handle the atmosphere at 88,000-plus seat Memorial Stadium. The guess here is the Wave will make one mistake too many to pull off the upset.
