Vashaun Coulon, St. Augustine: The junior completed 19 of 23 passes for 282 yards with four touchdowns passing and one rushing in a district rout of Warren Easton.
Dedric Lastie, Riverside: The senior rushed 10 times for 196 yards and three touchdowns in a rout of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Jasper Parker, Shaw: The Michigan commitment set a Shaw school record with 326 yards rushing on 35 carries and scored two touchdowns at Lafayette Christian.
James Roniger, Jesuit: The senior rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter and intercepted a pass while playing linebacker in the fourth to help preserve a victory against Brother Martin.
Calvin Smith, Hahnville: The senior rushed 20 times for 188 yards and five touchdowns in a district rout of Terrebonne. He scored on runs of 50, 35, 28, 3 and 2 yards.
Lester Johnson, Rummel: The senior defensive back forced and recovered a fumble that gave Rummel a short field for a touchdown in the first quarter and ended with a team-high 10 tackles in a 14-7 victory against John Curtis.
Alfred Scott, Livingston Collegiate:?The senior rushed 24 times for 140 yards and a touchdown in a win against Carver.
Bryce Wilkerson, Thomas Jefferson: The senior rushed 21 times for 274 yards and three touchdowns on runs of 95, 38 and 15 yards in a nondistrict win vs. Sarah T. Reed.
