Beau Bernard, Lakeshore:?The senior quarterback accounted for 120 yards of total offense as the Titans scored 40-plus points for the third straight week during a 43-16 victory over Northlake Christian on Sept. 27.
Gustavo Castilho, Northshore:?The sophomore won first place in the 50 freestyle (22.14 seconds) and 100 freestyle (49.88) and swam on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:45.84) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:26.33) during a meet at Franco's on Sept. 25.
Caden Heck, Covington:?The senior quarterback threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-26 passing and ran for 84 yards on 15 carries during a 28-0 win over Northshore on Sept. 27.
Markel Keyes, Salmen:?The senior signal-caller threw for 179 yards on 13-of-22 passing with a touchdown and ran for the game-winning 5-yard TD in the final minute of a 34-28 win at Liberty on Sept. 27.
Gus Pizza, PJP II:?The junior ran for 93 yards and two scores on 11 carries as the Jaguars cruised to a 42-7 road win over Ben Franklin on Sept. 27.??
Nate Sheppard, Mandeville:?The Duke commitment set a new Mandeville record with seven touchdowns during a 56-14 win over Slidell on Sept. 27. He ran for 185 yards and five TDs on 17 carries while adding an 81-yard kickoff return TD and a 40-yard punt return touchdown. He finished with 372 all-purpose yards and led the defense with nine tackles.
Drew Talley, St. Paul's:?The senior kicker booted a 53-yard FG that proved to be the difference in a 25-22 win over Kennedy on Sept. 27.
Ronald Williams, Slidell:?The senior took first place in the three-mile run with a time of 16 minutes, 17.32 seconds at the Mount Carmel Cub Run at City Park on Sept. 28.
