Mandeville's Emil Allen returned an interception for a touchdown during the Skippers' second-round playoff win over St. Amant on Nov. 17.

The second week of the high school football playoffs provided some impressive statistical showings across the northshore.

Emil Allen, Mandeville:?The junior safety had two interceptions during Mandeville's 42-21 second-round win over No. 5 St. Amant. He returned his first interception 35 yards for the game's first touchdown.

Cody Corales, St. Paul's: The sophomore running back ran for 97 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries during the Wolves' 38-14 second-round win over Tioga.

Cameron Dorsey, Salmen:?The senior quarterback completed 29 of 48 passes for 290 yards and a touchdown during the Spartans' 49-28 second-round loss at Zachary.

Northshore's secondary:?Despite giving up 21 points on defense, the Panthers forced three interceptions during a 28-2 second-round loss to Walker. The Northshore defense recorded seven tackles for a loss and had interceptions by Kyle Williams, Rogie Magee and T.J. Coleman.

Nate Sheppard, Mandeville:?The junior running back accounted for four touchdowns and 185 yards of total offense in the Skippers' second-round win. He ran for 105 yards and three scores on 18 carries, adding two catches for 75 yards and a TD.
