Photos: Southern Decadence parade highlights weekend slate
The 52nd Southern Decadence parade rolls in New Orleans, Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024. The parade, a highlight of a weekend-long LGBTQ+ celebration, is a street pageant of marching groups, dance ensembles, costumes, bands and large crowds. Vanessa Carr Kennedy, Jeffrey Mayeux and Paribe Meyer reigned as grand marshals.
