Amy Schumer danced with a bride and groom in New Orleans over the weekend.

It's no secret that Amy Schumer loves new Orleans.?

When her apartment was being renovated in 2019, the famous comedian-turned-movie-star and activist made the Crescent City home for a few weeks and documented her time here on social media. She went to Pelicans games, chased ducks naked in Audubon Park and, of course, ate beignets at Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter.?

And she keeps coming back.

She's said many times that New Orleans is her favorite city and she loves to come here when she can. And her newest autobiography, "Life & Beth," is partly based and filmed here.?

So it wasn't a huge surprise when someone caught Schumer, Trashy Diva bag in hand, crashing a second line over the weekend.

Brigid Cash and Kyle Mulligan came to New Orleans from New York City for their destination wedding. After their church nuptials, the couple and their guests paraded through French Quarter in a Second Line to Brennan's for the wedding reception, said Kate Burke, wedding planner at Gabrielle James Events.?

As Brigid and Kyle danced down the street with Kinfolk Brass Brand, Schumer got in on the action, stopping to hug the bride and chat with guests.?

"As a planner, there are so many things that we try to control throughout the day, but it's really those little surprises and the people that make the real magic happen," Burke said.?

The only-in-New Orleans moment went viral online, and Schumer also re-posted one of the videos on her Instagram story.

"We really tried to create the quintessential New Orleans weekend for Brigid and Kyle's friends and family," Burke said.
